Sometimes it is really hard to keep up with life! I am definitely experience that right now! There is so much going on all at once that it can truly get overwhelming at times.
So here are some of the mantras and reminders that keep me on track and help me navigate through life!
I am exactly where I need to be!
Sometimes we may not always understand the things we are experiencing or “why” things are happening. This mantra is helpful in reminding myself that even though I may not understand what is going on in the moment I do believe that everything happens for a reason so I am always exactly where I need to be.
I am comfortable in the discomfort
FACT life is not perfect. FACT growth can be very uncomfortable. FACT change (even great changes) can be extremely uncomfortable. That is why I love to remind myself that discomfort is okay! In fact…”stepping OUT of your comfort zone” is exactly what you need to do to make great changes!
It is not my job to fix others
UGH! I constantly have to remind myself of this one! It is NOT my job to fix other people! The only person you can change is yourself! Trust me this is one of the hardest to remember, hence a daily mantra of “it is not my job to fix others” seems to do the trick!
I can always make another choice
This is one of my favorites. Sometimes we get so ridiculous about making the smallest decisions! Truth is if we don’t like our choice we can change it by making another choice!
Is this affecting my life in a positive way
This is more of a question than a mantra! Let me tell you…not only does this keep me on track BUT it really keeps me from wasting energy responding and reacting to the ridiculousness of others! Try it …it really works! You work too darn hard to keep yourself positive and to keep your energy in an awesome place! DO NOT let others create negativity in your life.
