Seven years ago I was newly separated, living at my parents with no full time job or money. I found myself, as many of us often do, at a cross roads in my life. I was a stay at home mom who several years before had started doing psychic readings, healing work and teaching Spiritual classes part time. I loved what I did but certainly never thought I could make a living doing it…
So there I was with a very important choice to make. I could go back into retail full time and guaranteed myself a steady paycheck or I could find some way to continue what I loved to do. I decided to borrow $1500 from my parents and open an office. I gave myself 6 month to see if I could support myself and my children or I would go get a real job.
Six months later I expanded my office space. Six months after that I moved to another location expanding again and bringing on other practitioners. A year after that, I fulfilled a dream come true when I built (along with the help of a LOT of volunteers) a 1500sq ft healing center which would be known as Spiritquest Healing Center. But that wouldn’t be the end. Three years after that I would be blessed enough to buy my own home and move my business there allowing me to be home with my kids! I now own two companies, my own home, have 2 successful meditation CD’s and I am preparing for the release of my first book in late fall early spring of this year called “No Phones In Heaven”.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because if I can do it so can you. My entire world is built around helping people to find their own inner strength and potential! Every one who is “somewhere” at one point in time was “nowhere”.
So just for today don’t focus on where you are but allow yourself to dream of where you want to be. Tomorrow go find the tools you need to help you get there! And remember the only one that can truly change your life is you!
