We have all heard about it. We all talk about it. We all wonder if it actually exists. Well I am here to tell you Karma does exists!

The Buddhist belief that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa. However, many  of us seem to have the “doing good things” down and we are sitting around waiting for the Karma to kick in.  So how does it work?  I have learned so much in the last few month. Things that just made no sense to me before are now crystal clear. I can finally see how EVERYTHING in my life (especially the bad stuff) has lead me to where I am now.  I finally understand Karma!

Karma is not something you can demand or force.  Sometimes Karma takes it time but it always comes around in the end.  They key to Karma is to simply let go of what is not working and allow Karma to take its course.  Yes, Karma and faith go hand in hand.  You may not understand why things are happening they way they are but you need to hold on to the belief/faith that it WILL eventually all make sense!  Anger does not bring Karma.  Wishing does not bring Karma. Letting go and believing brings Karma!

Too many of us give up on “being the good person” the minute we feel we are being treated badly or we are not being acknowledged for our “good deeds”.  Like many of you..I have been hurt, betrayed and taken advantage of by more people then I care to recall.  Unfortunately, it is part of life.  You can not allow those bad moments or the bad actions of others take you off your path.  You need to stay true to you!  You do not need to explain yourself, defend yourself or convince others why what they did was not right.  You simply need to move on!  You need to stay in your happy bubble! You need to have faith that Karma WILL come your way!  AND no matter how long it takes you need to stay strong!  You owe that to yourself!

It has been a really REALLY long road and while there are still some lingering challenges I am still waiting to resolve I believe in Karma!  I believe in it so much that I decided to honor Karma by yelling it to the world through my new license plates…..KARMAWOM!  Cause in the end Karma always wins!

Be strong!  Be positive!  Be the amazing person you are!
