Happy new year everybody! Are you ready? Are you excited?

I always love the first day of the New Year! We all start with a clean slate as we begin a year full of new opportunities and the chance to truly create the life we want. Living your dreams is not as difficult as you think it is but there is a formula you must follow:

1. The most important thing is you must feel deserving! You cannot create anything if you do not feel deserving of. It’s that simple!

2. You must believe that you have everything that you need to create the life you want. You must believe you are strong enough and courageous enough.

3. You must be willing to never give up no matter what distractions or disappointments you face. The only difference between people living their dreams and people who are not; is those people living their dreams never gave up.

4. You must surround yourself with positive people who are living their dreams and stay away from negativity. It is impossible to have happiness if all you are doing is focusing on the bad things in your life.

5. You have to have faith that when one door closes another one will open….one with better opportunities. It is not any given bad moment that defines you.  It is how you move forward from those moments that truly make you who you are:)

I have now been doing this work for 19 years. I have watched many many people transform their lives and live their dreams. I have also seen many who stay stuck year after year simply because they don’t feel deserving and they don’t believe in themselves. I have learned so much from going to my own struggles and I realize I prolong the suffering a lot longer than necessary because I truly did not believe I deserve that which I wanted. I spent too much time focusing on current circumstances and didn’t allow myself to envision what I really wanted (why bother I would never get it…kinda attitude).  It wasn’t until I woke up, took responsibility for my own life and I was willing to let go of what was not working that I was able to step into my dream life. Yes it takes commitment and it’s not always an easy road but it is worth the end result!

I challenge you in this New Year to take a really close look at yourself and ask yourself do I feel deserving? I ask you to dig deep and find that belief in yourself… That little voice that says “YOU CAN DO THIS”! I challenge you to focus not on where you may be at this moment but where you wish to be!
