I thought it would be fun this month if instead of me writing another article I would let you write a love letter to yourself! I know I know I am hearing the groaning and seeing the eye rolling already….but com’on peeps it is February….the month of LOVE! And who is the one person you need to say “I LOVE you” too the most? YOURSELF!!!!!!!!! So stop the groaning and eye rolling and print out this page!
Why am I doing this? Well here is a message I received in December about this coming year:
“You need to let others know how powerful of a year this can be. It is a 7 year, a year of faith. Those who are willing to work through their fear and take a leap of faith will be filled with many blessing and amazing opportunities. Those who are not willing to take those leaps of faith will continue to stagnate exactly where they are. It is a year of action for without action there can be no change”.
So what does that have to do with a love letter? God, you guys ask the greatest questions! Well….in order to muster up the courage to take a leap of faith you must first feel deserving! You must believe that you have the courage to take that leap. You must love yourself enough to go after whatever it is you want no matter what your current situation is! So are you motivated now? Well just do it anyway…I promise you will thank me later and if not you can use the page you print to throw your gum out later on. So see it is a win win!
My love letter to myself:
Dear Self,
I am so proud of you and the person that you are! I am so proud that you have
overcome________________________ and continued to move forward.
I am in awe of all of your wonderful qualities like you are _______________________,
_____________________ and _______________________. I know that you have the strength and
courage to let go of________________________________ as it no longer serves you. I know that you
understand you are worthy of creating __________________________ in your life.
Dear Self you are a wonderful, amazing, compassionate, strong and brave soul and I just wanted to take
a moment to tell you how much “I LOVE YOU”!
(now print this out and read it to yourself in the mirror…over and over and over until you believe it!)
This Love letter to our self is a very unique idea, everyday we spend time naturing, caring , lifting others spirits, some of us more than others,and often we forget about the wonderful person ,who does the naturing, who picks up the broken pieces of a bad day for someone that they love or perhaps just had a brief encounter with someone on the street who obviously has less .so here’s to your Fabulous Idea for our Fabulous Lisa Ann,who watches out for everyone. And for everyone else who always goes that extra mile to make life just a little better for someone . You are special and it TRUELY is a gift,that not everyone cares enough to. Take advantage of.
